Ally McBeal's therapist said everyone should choose their own theme song, a sound track to underscore their life story. Since I can't afford my own therapist to give me any better advice...

This song is from Van Morrison’s Bang Records era and was first recorded in 1967, year of the Summer of Love and FP’s birth.

Morrison wrote this and 30 other songs when his label, Bang, told him it was time to fulfill his Contractual Obligations. The session’s other inspirations include ringworm and a “dumb” guy named George.

The label shelved the masters. But in 1992, they resurfaced on The Lost Tapes album; now several even show up on best-of compilations, which is a good joke on someone but I’m not sure whom.

I tried hard to figure out who owns the copyright on this now; if you’re that person, please don’t sue me.
